Christina Mayr studied art at the Université du Québec à Montréal and completed the glass program at L'Espace Verre in 2000.

Her designs add a contemporary twist and a dash of fantasy to classical shapes. In spite of the organic slants and shapes, her glassware is designed to be utilitarian.
